This one-off new build property was designed and built to fit into the surrounding countryside. The main structural frame of the building was created using Douglas fir, which was hand built onsite. Internally a number of structural beams and trusses were left exposed, this enhanced the design details. These were complemented by aluminium windows, doors and finished with a traditional slate roof.
